Services we don’t give a rating
– the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve. Our infection prevention and control inspections look at how well people using a service are kept safe from the spread of infections. Mealtimes are a highlight and social focus for the day and so food and nutrition play an important part in life at Aspen Hill Village. We provide a varied choice of wholesome and well-balanced meals and we are able to cater for individual dietary requirements. The move away from a paper-based system for recording time and attendance immediately reduced the number of errors, with staff now clocking in using tablets. And with Deputy’s scheduling capability, Aspen Hill Village could automate rotas, saving line managers hours of tedious admin work.

Residential & Nursing Respite Care At Aspen Hill Village we provide Respite Care for people who may require a short or temporary... All our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on the premises by our trained staff, who take great pride in surpassing our residents’ expectations. We source our foods from a number of local suppliers and we receive regular deliveries of fresh natural produce.
We treat each resident as an individual and encourage personal preference, individual dignity and social connections. Our residents spend their time out of their bedrooms participating in fun and meaningful activities with their “care home family”. Registered Nurse owned and managed, Aspen Care stands out among first class assisted living facilities.
Each resident has their own individual care plan which is designed and then regularly reviewed with them. Additional services such as hairdressing, chiropody, optician’s and dentist’s visits are all arranged to suit our residents. Local GP’s and district nurses regularly visit the home, to support our own carefully chosen and trained care team. Evening drinks are served before bedtime with a selection of snacks available.
